Thanks to Rare Liberty on Facebook we have video of Glenn announcing his mayorial run for Knox County in Tennessee.
Kane and politics seem to go hand in hand. It’s been known for quite some time that our beloved monster might be leaving the WWE to embark on a road as mayor in his home state. The following was shared by WBIR.
Glenn Jacobs, the East Tennessee businessman who’s gained fame as pro wrestler “Kane”, is planning a “special announcement” Tuesday about his interest in running for Knox County mayor.
The announcement is set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, at Sweet P’s at 3725 Maryville Pike in South Knox County.
Bryan Hair, speaking on Jacobs’ behalf, wasn’t quite ready Friday to say what will happen Tuesday.
But he said some of Jacobs’ family and close friends are expected to attend.
“It’s going to be a fun-filled event,” Hair said.
Last month, Jacobs filed paperwork announcing he had a treasurer for a potential run as Knox County mayor in 2018. It’s a required step for candidates seeking office in the county.
Jacobs indicated on the form he’s a Republican.
Hair said the insurance firm operator also plans to attend the annual area Lincoln Day Dinner, set for Friday, April 21, at Rothchild Catering on Kingston Pike.
Missouri Sen. Roy Blunt is the keynote speaker, and prominent state and local party members are expected to attend.
According to the news going around the web, it looks like our monster will be returning to us soon!
Filming wrapped for WWE Studios’ See No Evil 2 yesterday, which means Kane should be ready to return soon. Special effects experts Todd Masters and Monster Masters worked on the movie and it was noted that the movie will feature “supreme blood and gore.”
Hopefully, he’ll return at Hell in a Cell or close to it to continue his story with Bray Wyatt. To me personally, it seems like the Wyatt Family is just floating and wandeirng with no real purpose, so hopefully they’ll be able to work with Kane more upon his return.
Dread Central has posted up a bit of news and a synopsis for Kane’s upcoming thriller, See No Evil 2. See No Evil 2 is a sequel to the original See No Evil that was released in 2006.
Scream queens Danielle Harris (the Halloween franchise) and Katharine Isabelle (American Mary, Ginger Snaps, Freddy vs. Jason) join Michael Eklund (The Call, The Marine 3: Homefront, The Day) in the Soska Sisters-helmed See No Evil 2 starring WWE Superstar KANE®.
See No Evil 2 revives the nightmare of the first film when Jacob Goodnight rises from the dead in the city morgue after his killing spree at the Blackwell Hotel. In this ominous, underground locker for the dead, a group of medical students fight to survive as the deranged psychopath once again starts to pick them apart one by one.”
Yes fans you’ve read the title correctly, WWE and Lionsgate have decided to give us a sequel to Kane’s movie See No Evil which was released in 2006.

According to Reason Magazine, it seems our beloved monster Kane, real name Glenn Jacobs, is considering a Senate run in 2014. It’s been well-documented that Kane is an avid follower of politics, and has said at one point that he wasn’t interested in running for any office, however, it seems his mind may have changed. No word yet has been heard from the man himself, so consider this all rumors for now. It’s worth noting if Kane does in fact run for office he would more than likely have to retire from wrestling.

WWE has issued the following official news release on their latest movie adventure, a Scooby Doo movie. Yes, a Scooby Doo movie.
Warner Bros. and WWE Studios today announced they will co-produce a Scooby-Doo animated feature that will find Scooby and the gang solving a mystery at WrestleMania.
WWE Superstars and Divas including Triple H, John Cena, Kane, The Miz, Brodus Clay, Santino Marella, Sin Cara and AJ Lee will appear in animated form and lend their voices to the project. WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon will also lend his voice and appear in animated form.
When Shaggy and Scooby win tickets to WrestleMania, the entire gang travels in the Mystery Machine to WWE City to attend the epic event. However, when a mysterious ghostly bear appears and threatens to ruin the show, Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and Fred work with WWE Superstars to solve the case.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will handle worldwide distribution on Blu-ray, DVD, VOD and digital download. The film will be produced by Warner Bros. Animation. WWE will utilize its extensive global reach through its television, digital media and print assets to market the release of the film.
Regarding Kane’s return, word is that he will be on the RAW brand as a heel when he returns. Kane is scheduled to return in time for the Royal Rumble.
On a related note, there’s been a lot of speculation on whether or not Kane will be masked when he returns. Word is that that decision is still up in the air. Officials wanted to use the mask in the video so there would be no question that it was for Kane’s return.
A heel Kane is best for everyone, so hopefully they stick to that route.

Big Show is taking a few months off to rest up with the feeling that it’s best for him to rotate in and out for the benefit of his long-term health, especially at this stage of his career. Kane is taking time off for similar reasons and to help get Mark Henry over for a potential feud with Randy Orton.
Considering the fact that it’s known that Kane has been suffering from injuries, this is probably for the best.
I feel it’s only right to post this on here. Kane and Edge have had some of the most illustrious feuds over the years, from just feuds over titles to feuds over a woman, Lita. These two have had some incredibly entertaining segments and matches over the years, and it’s with a heavy heart that we will now only be able to look back on all of this.

I dunno about you guys, but the retirement of Edge has hit me hard. He was one of the reasons why I begun to watch WWE, so to hear that he’s retiring at such a young age has made me think a lot. Edge is 37- he could’ve died if he had continued to wrestle, and I wholeheartedly respect and admire his retirement. At least he knows when his body can’t take it anymore (hint hint Hulk Hogan. That’s your cue to leave.)
Now I want to do something special that unites fansites. I know that we all run specific websites to specific people, but at the end of the day, we’re all wrestling fans. We all have our favourite wrestlers, and one of mine has and always has been Edge. This is why I’m bringing forward the Thank You Edge Project. Yes the name is highly original, but the meaning behind it is what matters.
The aim? To collect as many messages as possible for Edge thanking him for his WWE tenure. You’ll only have one week to collect them because I have a plan. Next week, I plan on giving a BIG scrapbook to Edge’s best friend, Christian, to give to Edge as a way of showing our appreciation.
How to submit messages? You can email me via firstname.lastname@example.org, and if other fansites want to get involved, copy and paste this update into your site and let people know about this. I’ll make sure that we make this one of, if not the, BIGGEST fansite project ever done. Thank you for reading & submitting, and most importantly, THANK YOU EDGE!
